Alicia McIntire, P.N.P.
Alicia McIntire's belief in compassionate, well-rounded care and a love for children inspired her to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (P.N.P.). Helpful, understanding and motivated to provide her patients with the best care possible, Alicia aims to provide care in a manner that makes children feel comfortable about caring for their health as they grow into adults. Alicia enjoys the rewards of working with children and their families!
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Alicia received her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from Columbia University School of Nursing. She is nationally certified as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
While completing her graduate nursing degree at Columbia University, Alicia received an award for an outstanding capstone paper.
As an undergraduate nursing student, Alicia was awarded an Alumni Scholarship and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society for Nursing.
Prior to attending nursing school, Alicia attended the University of Oregon. As a member of Phi Beta Kappa, she majored in human physiology and graduated from the Robert D. Clark Honors College with honors.
Teacher
Alicia loves teaching! While earning a graduate nursing degree at Columbia University, Alicia was a teaching assistant for undergraduate nursing students. She also served as a teaching assistant for anatomy lecture and lab, and as a tutor for student athletes while at the University of Oregon.
Runner/Hiker/Rafter
Alicia spends her free time running the trails of Eugene and hopes to complete a marathon in the future. She also enjoys hiking the Columbia River Gorge and rafting the Deschutes River.
Book Lover
Alicia is an avid reader; her favorite authors include Jodi Picoult and Jane Austen.
Fun Facts
Spending the last three years living in the Big Apple (NYC), Alicia learned to love walking from place-to-place, but found herself missing grass and trees!
She loves cats and dogs!
Alicia doesn’t go a day without drinking iced or hot tea.
