Eugene Pediatrics is excited to be the first pediatric clinic in our area to use CHADIS, the Child Health and Development Interactive System.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends using pre-visit screening tools to assist with early identification and treatment of developmental and behavioral concerns in children. We are the first clinic in Lane County to do so using CHADIS.
CHADIS is a web-based screening, diagnostic and management system that sends online questionnaires to parents, teens or teachers before a visit with their doctor. The responses are then compiled, analyzed and provided immediately to your pediatrician at our office.
With CHADIS, we improve our ability to diagnose and manage your child’s emotional and behavioral health problems and detect and address developmental issues, to take full advantage of our time with you in the office and answer your questions about your child’s health.
We will start pre-visit screening for well-child checkups using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire, the Lead Screening Questionnaire and the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT).
Our care for children with behavioral concerns will include the Vanderbilt Questionnaire and the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9). These tools are of the highest industry standard for detecting developmental and behavioral problems in kids.
