Burping

Newborns should be burped at least once per feeding, but some infants just don’t know how to burp after they’re born. Don’t worry; just keep practicing. Position your infant in one of several ways: on your shoulder, on your lap, or cradled in a sitting position with your hand. For more information, watch our how-to video for burping.
